Abstract
Objetive: case presentation
Methods: female patient of 29 years old whose daughter is born with virilized external genitalia. After studying the newborn, not been able to find any reason for these findings, the mother was examined.
Results: laboratory results showed increased level of DHEA. To confirm the diagnosis, CT and MRI were performed. The elective treatment for adrenal tumors is surgical resection, being the laparoscopic approach superior in terms of lower morbidity and hospital stay.
