Abstract

We report the case of a 50-year-old female patient with abdominal pain and symptoms of intestinal obstruction. Preoperative tests were performed, and the patient underwent exploratory laparotomy. A Meckel’s diverticulum complicated with obstruction due to a fibrous band was found intraoperatively. We conducted a bibliographic review, with focus on diagnostic methods and treatments.
