Abstract

Solitary cecal ulcers (SCUs) are rare and no cases have been published in Argentina. Few cases or series have been reported in other countries. The etiology is unknown and many other diseases must be ruled out before making the diagnosis. This case was solved with selective right hemicolectomy through laparotomy in an emergency basis.
